TEDx SouthBank

I recently volunteered to photograph the TEDx SouthBank event, which was held yesterday at the State Library of Queensland. I spent the day out on the ‘Activation Space’ balcony, so unfortunately didn’t get the chance to experience the presentations. But I did get to experience the many great conversations those presentations inspired.

Pumpyard Bar & Brewery

Pump yard Bar and Brewery is a brewpub recently opened in Ipswich’s old, heritage-listed TAFE building by the 4 Hearts Brewing Company. I had the pleasure last weekend of making the trip out west to join Yelp’s Brisbane Elite members and shoot their tasting and sampling event.

Locanda Osteria

On Friday night, I responded to a call out from Yelp Brisbane to come and shoot their Elite event at Locanda Osteria in Fortitude Valley on Saturday afternoon. The afternoon started with some wine, before the group joined the chef in the kitchen for a demonstration of how to make gnocchi.

A little while later,  the gnocchi was shared around, along with other samples from Locanda’s fantastic menu. I’ll definitely be back for a full meal sometime soon.
