Just bought yourself a fancy new camera and not getting the shots you expected? Just like cooking requires more than good pots and pans, photography requires a little more than just a good camera.
With most photography lessons and workshops, you’ll be part of a large group, all with different cameras and different levels of experience. My one-to-one lessons are different.
How Does It Work?
- - When you make a booking, I’ll ask you what kind of camera you have
- - Before the session, if I haven’t already, I’ll read your camera manual to familiarise myself with its individual settings and functions
- - I’ll then plan a lesson around the settings and functions that your camera offers, incorporating the basic fundamentals of photography that can be the difference between an ordinary shot and a good shot
What Will We Cover?
During the 2 hour one-to-one lesson, you’ll learn the basics of aperture, shutter speed and ISO – the three main things affecting exposure. We’ll also spend some time on composition and light.
What Do You Need?
All you need is a Digital SLR, or compact camera with manual modes.
For the basic 2 hour lesson, including my preparation, the cost is just $120.
We can tailor this to suit your needs though, with additional time for instruction on downloading photos to your computer and basic image editing for just $50 per extra hour.
