One of the many good things about being a geography teacher is the ability to occasionally get out into the 'geography' - like yesterday's field trip to the Nerang River catchment. While the kids were doing their work, I took the opportunity to take a few photos.
Although I'm not overly thrilled with the landscapes I got, I'm happy with this fly. This has to be the shiniest fly I've ever seen - if you look closely, you can actually see my reflection in the second blue-green segment on his shoulder.
