Tree Silhouette

Today was a bit of a 'gonna' day. We were gonna go to the races, but that got changed becuase of the weather (which turned out to be quite nice, in fact). Then, we were gonna go to the pub for lunch (until the car's thermostat packed it in). I was never gonna take any photos today, so here's one from the archives. Taken earlier in the year, on the same outing as the lighthouses and mangroves from around late February.

• Tree looks like it has come from one of those oriental paintings. The silhouette effect works perfectly here and I do like the sky color. Strange thing is, we seldom quite see that sky color mix when taking the shot . . just happily happens in the result.
