Driftwood

Thanks for all the great comments on the previous shot. Well worth the panic it caused Kylie when she thought I'd miss the train. It also brought about Montage's 1000th comment, an honour which goes to Dennis from LB Imaging. A busy day on Saturday and miserable weather today sees another dip into the archives. This is from our trip to Heron Island last year. A purer black and white version has been printed and given as a gift before, but I think I prefer this treatment.

• The erosion here has really brought out features and character that otherwise were missed. I think the light toning works well and, appropriately, it retains a faded ‘wood’ color.
