Sabah Sunset #1

Don't let the #1 scare you. I took quite a few sunset shots, but won't put them all up one after the other. I might save them for a rainy day. I took my camera out for the first time since coming home today. Not happy. Apart from the fact that I didn't get any decent shots, my new lens has a scratch. It seems that the cap came off in the bag and something has scratched the lens.

• Ugh. That sucks about the scratch. I hate it when things go wrong with camera equipment. Beautiful shot, and I love the boat that seems to be leaving the shot.

• Sorry to read about the scratch : that kinda thing can bug out of all proportion and I remember way back always keeping an ND filter on the lens as a precaution . . and never getting a mark on it! Meanwhile, the shot is a real postcard grabber although the EXIF feels odd at 1/5, f/11 into that sun (?)
