Sunday Serenity

I took a trip out to Wellington Point this afternoon, with a plan to shoot a particular tree. A single mangrove, which was once so popular among the Brisbane photography community that it had its own group on flickr.

Of courseĀ it wasn’t until I got there, at the end of a 45 minute drive, that I found out that the tree was recently cut down. A shame, but not necessarily a bad thing as it forced me to look for other scenes.
