It has been a few years since I made the drive down the M1 for the World Surf League‘s Gold Coast Pro at Snapper Rocks. In fact, it’s been a few years since the event was held at Snapper, after going mobile a few times to Duranbah, Kirra and Burleigh Heads.
This morning, I was there early for the warm up, and stuck around for the first four or five heats as round two of the men’s competition continued. Featured below are Luke Thompson, Italo Ferreira, Rio Waida, Ethan Ewing, Crosby Colapinto, Jake Marshall, Griffin Colapinto, and Mateus Herdy.
