WHAT’s a lifestyle shoot?
Well, that depends on your lifestyle, but the possibilities are endless!
It could be a photoshoot of you and a loved one enjoying a favourite activity, like a bushwalk, or a visit to a local gallery or night markets. Perhaps it’s a day on the beach, or a picnic in the park with friends. Maybe you want some photos of yourself out mountain biking on your favourite trails, or taking part in your local Parkrun. Sometimes, iPhone selfies just don’t cut it, and you need some professional photographs for sharing with friends and family, or printing for your walls.
Likewise, if you’re travelling to Brisbane, the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast and want some photos in the beautiful locations you visit without relying on a tripod and self timer, or trusting a stranger with your camera, a lifestyle shoot could be for you.
how does it work?
When you make a booking, we will meet at least once to plan the shoot. We’ll plan the locations you want to visit, the kind of shots you’d like taken, and back-up options in case of bad weather. On the day of the shoot, we’ll work together to create a combination of candid and posed shots of you and your partner, friends or family enjoying your favourite activity.
Within 1 week of the shoot, I’ll provide you with two online galleries – one with low-resolution files for you to share with friends on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and one with high-resolution versions for printing.

For locations/activities requiring entry fees, entry will be arranged by the client, at their cost.

Although we’ll agree on a wet weather option, shoots may be rescheduled in the case of severe weather

You will have ownership of the images for personal, non-commercial use. Heath Carney Photography retains the right to use the images in promotional materials, but will never sell them to a third party.
